Position Summary: The Client Engagement Coordinator is a dynamic role focused on collaborating with CBDC Blue Water staff and selected clients to craft compelling video and photo-based success stories. Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in showcasing the journeys of CBDC Blue Water clients through captivating multimedia content. This position demands independence and the ability to drive to various locations throughout rural HRM, with access to a car being essential.
Key Accountabilities:
· Brainstorm and execute video/photo-based content highlighting CBDC Blue Water clients and services.
· Attend weekly meetings with the Marketing Coordinator to provide progress updates on content creation.
· Onsite presence during client shoots and post-production editing at our office location.
· Collaborate with CBDC Blue Water staff to develop engaging scripts/client interviews outlining their services/products.
· Attend off-site partner events, including networking events.
· Other duties as assigned.
Technical & Administrative Duties:
· Filming & photography using a DSLR camera and/or smartphone with stabilizer.
· Editing and preparing video content using Premiere Pro or iMovie.
· Scheduling filming times and coordinating with staff and clients.
· Collaborating with CBDC Blue Water staff when tasks require multiple people onsite.
· Exceptional copywriting skills for video script creation.
· Strong in-person communication skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Must be a youth between the ages of 15 – 30.
· Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred.
· Experience in videography, creative writing, and photography.
· Proficiency in using DSLR cameras and/or smartphones for filming.
· Outgoing personality with the ability to conduct one-on-one interviews.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
· Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro.
Hours: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday (with the occasional evening/weekend shift)
35 hours/week | Hourly Rate: $17.00
